Today, we’re learning from a story about a Toronto wellness concept that is replacing nightclubs and the hangover - and might represent the future of hospitality.

Eric Jafari
Today, we’re learning from Eric Jafari, founder of AENDRE Group.
The Big Idea: There's a way to build connections and get an endorphin high that doesn't result in a hangover – and it just might represent the future of hospitality.
Why it Matters: The way we socialize is changing. With fewer young adults drinking alcohol and the popularity of nightclubs waning, hospitality has a golden opportunity to reimagine social bonding through wellness.
65% of adults 18-35 say drinking alcohol is bad for your health. (Gallup, 2023)
Only 59% of adults under 35 drank alcohol in 2023, down from 72% two decades ago (Gallup, 2023).
What would a concept look like where leaving the place, you walk away feeling more amazing, healthier, better, with new friends, having had an amazing time?
Go Deeper: Listen to Eric and I talk about this today on the Hospitality Daily Podcast (Apple Podcasts, Spotify).
Takeaways for Today:
Try it Yourself: These concepts might seem abstract until you experience them firsthand. Dive in and explore them.
Be a Local Guide: Start small—create a curated guide to local wellness experiences that align with this emerging trend – from group fitness classes to innovative spa concepts.
Partner and Innovate: Look for opportunities to collaborate with or host providers of these experiences, particularly if you see increased demand for longer stays and wellness offerings.
