Rocco Forte Hotels launches an employee listening strategy

Rocco Forte Hotels is launching a new employee engagement and happiness program across their global portfolio.

The program will enable their people to give feedback whenever, and wherever they want. It provides their leaders with an ability to analyze cultural health in-depth to support the people strategy overall.

Mandarin Oriental, Stay One Degree partner on Swiss ski trip offer

Stay One Degree, which offers curated home rentals, is partnering with Mandarin Oriental on the Alpine Escape Experience  in Switzerland to allow guests to pair a one-night stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Geneva with a week in one of Stay One Degree's chalets in Verbier.

Hotel guests will receive a resort credit to use at the property's Yakumanka restaurant, the MO Bar, and the beauty and wellness area by Bellefontaine, followed by a helicopter or limousine transfer to Verbier for a seven-night, all-inclusive ski experience at a chalet. 

During their stay in Verbier, guests will receive catering, a selection of premium beverages, 24-hour in-resort driving, in-chalet ski equipment fitting, concierge service and access to ski partners to arrange additional activities, such as paragliding and private ski guiding. 

Interesting to see a partnership like this between hotels and vacation rental companies. On some trips I want to stay at both types of accommodations, and there could be added value for both businesses in doing this.
